As a younger generation who has always used to internet; watching YouTube, downloading songs, movies, lyrics and software are very common thing. However, today we were asked to prepare a PowerPoint presentation to show how we do all these things such as downloading, watching videos and movies online. This is indeed a new experience for me. This is also a preparation for our assignments which involves preparing steps for various skills.
We were also exposed to new software which is Moyea. Moyea is downloading software for online songs such as the YouTube. This is new software for me. I found it very useful and fast as well as user friendly. Other downloading software I used before are aTube catcher, Realplayer downloader, Bearshare and Lime. These are just some of it. If we explore the internet, I am sure there are hundreds of software available. Moreover these software are free and some are trial version.
Learning about this application definitely widens my knowledge in this course, especially as a students living in the 21st century. I think that students, who learn how to create technology, or how to make better use of it, are going to enjoy richer, fuller lives in the decades to come. It will be an exciting journey for them. And really, who can picture where it will take them? With the right technology tools, though, today’s students will be ready to meet any challenge. We as future teachers want to ensure they have those tools.
